In 1973, John Dobbins started Northwest Transmission Parts. The business was so named due to being located in the Cincinnati Ohio area, running a transmission parts route northwest to Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, South Bend and Chicago. Gradually collecting parts from various sources, covering years mostly 1940's to 1970's, today we ship worldwide!
Northwest has 9 employees with over 125 years of combined automotive experience. We also have five warehouses full of automatic and standard shift transmission parts. (we can supply late model parts as well). Northwest also has its own machining and fabricating shop with the ability to repair or re-manufacture most obsolete parts. If we don't have it, we will find it! If we can't find it, we will make it!
We can supply any automatic kit for any car or light truck ever made in the USA (in stock) also including Rolls Royce, Jaguar and Mercedes from 1940- present. We carry pumps, drums, bands and bushings. We also carry standard shift clutches, universal joints, torque converters, flywheels back to 1940 and standard shift parts and kits back to 1933.
Today Rusty Yarger takes care of the daily operations with over 30 years experience in the transmission industry.
